Product Details

Uses, Features

The CJ19-25-32-43 and CJ19C-25-170 contactors are designed for switching capacitors in reactive power compensation panels operating on 50Hz AC power up to 380V. These contactors effectively suppress inrush currents during closing, making them a reliable replacement for the previous switching setup that consisted of one CJ10 contactor and three XD1 current-limiting reactors. They offer several advantages, including compact size, lightweight construction, robust switching capability, and significant savings in raw materials.

Model and Meaning

Normal operating and installation conditions

1. Ambient air temperature: -5°C to +40°C, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +35°C.
2. Atmospheric Conditions: At +40°C, the relative atmospheric humidity shall not exceed 50%. At lower temperatures, higher relative humidity levels are permissible. Specifically, when the average minimum temperature in the wettest month is +25°C, the average maximum relative humidity should remain at 90%, taking into account condensation that may occur on the product surface due to temperature fluctuations.
3. Altitude: The installation location must not exceed 2000 meters above sea level.
4. Pollution Level: Grade 3.
5. Installation Category: Class III.
6. Installation Conditions: The mounting surface must have an inclination of no more than ±5° relative to the vertical plane, and the area should be free from significant shaking, impact, or vibration.

Wiring Diagram

1. The wiring diagram of the contactor, using models CJ19-25, 32, and 43/11 (20.02) as examples, is shown in Figure 1.

For example, see Figure 2 for CJ19C-25, 32, 43/11 (20.02).

For example, see Figure 3 for CJ19C-63, 80, 95-21.

2. External Dimensions and Mounting Size
See Figures 1, 2, 3, and 4 for the contactor's external dimensions and mounting details.

Installation method

The CJ19 series contactors can be mounted either with screws or using 35mm and 75mm TH-type international standard DIN rails.
Installation, Use, and Maintenance
1. Before installation, check whether the voltage frequency on the coil matches the power supply.
2. Does the capacitance of the capacitor switched by the contactor match the switching capacity of this product?
3. During installation, all regulations and conditions must be strictly followed, and the power input terminal of the main circuit should face upward.
4. The terminal screws must be tightened securely. After verifying that the wiring is correct, and with the main power supply unloaded, first energize and de-energize the solenoid coil several times. Only after confirming reliable operation during these tests can the device be put into service.
5. Regularly inspect all components of the product during use, ensuring that moving parts operate smoothly without jamming and that fasteners remain securely tightened. If any parts become damaged, they should be replaced promptly.

Ordering Instructions

When placing an order, please provide the exact model specifications clearly, and specify the coil voltage—for example, CJ19 series, with a coil voltage of 220V or 380V.
